Our tree-free paper comes from an abundant and renewable resource: sugar cane. Trees can take ten or more years to mature. Alternatively, sugar cane can be harvested twice a year. What’s more, we only use the sugar cane by-product and never harvest this crop for paper production. We procure the sugar cane by-product after it’s harvested by a third party for the sugar. Instead of burning the sugar cane husk or dropping the waste in a landfill, we convert it into high-quality paper at our factory.
